Parboiled Rice PB-C
Product Description
PB-C Milled Rice is a top quality, parboiled long grain rice. This variety was specially developed to withstand the canning and retort processes while maintaining good texture, mouth feel and the characteristic grain shape. To maintain grain identity, it is contract grown then given special handling during processing, storage, and packaging. Applications are canned soups, rice mixes in retort pouches, or products that require severe processing. It is also a good choice for food service applications. PB-C Milled rice is certified as Kosher.

Packaging
PB-C is available in 50 lb. bags, 1,500 lb. cardboard totes and 2,000 lb. tote bags. This product has an indefinite shelf life and is best if used within 2 years. It is advisable to rotate stock regularly. Cooking methods available upon request. Rice is a raw agricultural product and should be put through an appropriate kill step based on your individual use.
